The 2027 Rawlings Icon Composite bat is a USSSA-certified model designed for youth baseball, specifically within the Kid Pitch age group (9 to 13 years old). It features a 31-inch length and a 23-ounce weight with a -8 drop, providing a balanced feel that supports both swing speed and control. The composite barrel, measuring 2 3/4 inches, offers a larger sweet spot and improved vibration dampening compared to alloy bats, which translates to a smoother contact experience. This bat is built to meet USSSA standards, making it eligible for play in certified leagues. The bat is new and unused. This bat suits developing players seeking to enhance their hitting mechanics and power with a lightweight option that helps maintain bat speed through the zone. The -8 drop weight is common for youth players transitioning from tee-ball and coach-pitch toward more competitive levels, balancing manageability with power potential. Its composite construction is ideal for players who prefer a more forgiving barrel and are looking to invest in a bat that breaks in over time for improved performance.

Perfect bat for:

Power hitters who want a big, forgiving composite barrel, whether they play BBCOR, USSSA or USA.

The Rawlings Icon is Rawlings' flagship composite bat and the successor to the Quatro Pro. A large barrel and forgiving feel suit hitters chasing power. It comes in BBCOR, USSSA and USA, so check the stamp for your league. Drop options run from the BBCOR -3 down to a USSSA -10. The In/Tense carbon composite keeps the barrel big and stiff.
