The 2027 Rawlings Icon Composite bat is a USSSA certified model designed for kid pitch play, suitable for players aged 9 to 13. This bat features a 31-inch length and a -8 drop weight, with a 2 3/4-inch barrel diameter. The composite construction helps provide a balanced swing with a solid, consistent feel and a larger sweet spot, which helps with power generation and control. It's a new bat, ready for on-field use. This bat is ideal for young players developing their hitting mechanics and seeking a lightweight, durable bat that meets competitive league standards. The -8 drop is well-suited for this age group, allowing for faster bat speed and better control at the plate. The composite material also tends to reduce vibration on contact, making it a practical choice for players building confidence in their swing.

Perfect bat for:

Power hitters who want a big, forgiving composite barrel, whether they play BBCOR, USSSA or USA.

The Rawlings Icon is Rawlings' flagship composite bat and the successor to the Quatro Pro. A large barrel and forgiving feel suit hitters chasing power. It comes in BBCOR, USSSA and USA, so check the stamp for your league. Drop options run from the BBCOR -3 down to a USSSA -10. The In/Tense carbon composite keeps the barrel big and stiff.
