The maxcor is unique in that in actually exceeds the BBCOR .50 standard when your exit velocity (as a result of increased power output by the batter) exceeds that used by the BBCOR testing facility which Is 70 mph. Obviously if your swing speed/pitch speed combo is only at 70 mph, then you probably aren’t playing at the high school level. Hence, if you’re an average high school level hitter, this bat should be better than anything else out there, while if you’re not quite as good, you probably could find better performance elsewhere. The barrel is also made of a slightly squishy soft composite material that I haven’t seen elsewhere either. A super weird bat but a really solid performer, especially if you’re a strong hitter. Essentially the harder you hit the ball, the more the bat helps out, as opposed to performance being the same across the board with other bats.
