This listing is for a new 31 inch, 26 oz (drop 5) 2026 DeMarini Zen bat. The bat is unused, in-wrapper, and includes the original receipt from Demarini for warranty purposes. I originally purchased this bat as an Xmas gift, but we decided to take a different direction. The CF Zen is renowned for its impressive performance, featuring a massive sweet spot and among the highest exit velocities on the market. The Bat Bros review found the performance of this retooled 2026 edition on par with the top bats in the USSSA drop 5 class including the Hype Fire, Icon, Dub, Soldier Tank, and others. Back in 2017, the original Green Zen was a legendary model in the USSSA realm, even being banned in some leagues. Subsequent versions of the Zen were good, though they face some durability concerns with their connector and endcap. For the retooled 2026 Zen, DeMarini addressed these concerns by redesigning the connector and endcap, enhancing durability while utilizing their innovative "Dark Matter Composite" material. This results in a larger sweet spot and even higher exit speeds, all wrapped up in a striking green barrel that pays tribute to its legendary 2017 model. The CF Zen has been discontinued. The early models from 2017 - 2021 were called CF Zens. After that, DeMarini changed the name to CF. The first models of the CF Zen were very high-performance. But they also tended to break, so DeMarini made them stronger, made them stiffer, made them more durable. And when they did that, the bats didn't hit as well. The early models were better performers than the later models.
