This used Nokona AMG 500 12.5" RHT glove circa 1984-1992 came to me in long-neglected but acceptable condition. This is the process that was used to recondition the glove: 1. The glove was completely disassembled and cleaned. 2. All leather was re-colored using Fiebing's Pro Dye in three colors: light brown, mahogany, and black. 3. The Native American icon in the palm and the Nokona logo in two locations were carefully repainted using Angelus leather paints. 4. Multiple coats of Fiebing's Bagkote finish were applied, and all welting was burnished with black Tokonole burnishing gum. 5. All felt padding was rebuilt from high-quality materials. 6. New Kydex plastic stiffeners were fabricated and sewn into the new felt padding in the pinky and thumb. Because Kydex is moldable, you can carefully heat the glove and shape them to your preference and let them cool. 7. The old synthetic wrist padding was removed and replaced with genuine sheep fur. 8. A coating of Wilson Pro conditioner was applied to the leather. 9. Both the pinky and thumb loops were replaced, and the entire glove was re-laced with cream-colored lacing. 10. Finally, the detail lacing in the web was done with a metallic silver lace. This glove is very high quality all around, and ready to give another lifetime of use for someone who appreciates leather like this. All leather on this glove other than lacing is original and in very good condition. No leather repairs were necessary to recondition this glove. This particular model is much less common than some of the other Nokonas that you usually see from this era. This web and the crown back are a favorite of mine. These photos are from the day that I finished reconditioning the glove. I have used it a little to break it in and enjoy it, but I don't have a current photo handy at the time of listing it. I should be able to update this tomorrow with a current photo of the glove. It still looks just as nice, but shows a little use. I'm honestly going to miss this one if it sells, but I could use the money for other things right now.
