“Dat Dude,” Brandon Phillips, has his own unique A2K branded under his name. The A2K Datdude combines the finest cuts of leather with careful construction and a uniquely designed pattern to bring you a one-of-a-kind glove from the master craftsmen at Wilson. Specifically, Datdude gloves utilize Pro Stock Select leather, which comes from the top 5% of pro stock hides. The hides are triple sorted, so you know your glove is made with only the highest quality leather. A2K Datdude gloves feature Rolled Dual Welting, which helps improve shape retention and better facilitates break-in. The technicians behind each A2K Datdude glove spend hours pounding in and shaping each glove so that it’s perfectly moldable to your liking.
The Wilson A2K Datdude features a combination of first-rate leather, great lacing, and a five-star construction, all of which make this mitt one of the best gloves on the market and completely worth the investment. If you are looking for a perfect middle infield pattern with a unique look, there is no better choice than any of the Wilson A2K Datdude models. The hardest decision you’ll face is which year Datdude is your favorite. The 2017 edition Datdude is pretty different than most Datdude models, while the 2016 version is a good combination of both classy and flashy. If flashy is what you’re looking for though, definitely go with the 2015 model. All things considered, this glove is a great option for players who are just starting out.
