Bradley gloves are designed specifically for youth. They started in 2016 and my son has been using them exclusively since Aug 2017 when I discovered them online. He was still 9yrs old and just starting 10U. I originally tried the 32" Next Play but it was too big for him at the time. In the Spring of 2018 Bradley came out with the 31.5" in the Ignitor so I ordered it on April 24, 2018. Bradley says this glove is recommended for 7-9 yr olds, but he was 10 when he got it. Above avg size kid, and used up to turning 12. Once he got this glove it completely changed how he was able to receive the ball compared the glove I bought him before. This Bradley has a deep pocket and holds its shape well when you store it properly. We used a softball size wiffle ball in the pocket with the glove wrap that came with the glove. I will include the wiffle ball and a new Bradley glove wrap along with the Bradley glove bag that comes with it. I thought he would have outgrown it for his 11U season, but he still liked using the 31.5". The main pitcher he caught for threw in the mid to upper 60's consistently and the glove held up great. My son has never been a full time catcher, but would typically catch a full game during a weekend tournament. Still plenty of life left in it! Prior to his 12U season starting this spring, I was not sure if I would have his new 32" mitt broken in time for the season to start. So I sent it to Wagner Baseball Glove Repair in Skokie, IL to have him recondition and re-lace this mitt for $75 plus shipping therefore the price is FIRM. With the COVID Quarantine I got the new glove ready for the delayed season so this mitt has not been used since being reconditioned. If it was not for a little fading in the pocket, you would not know the glove was used except that is GAME READY for the next kid.
