The Wilson A1000 12.5" first base glove is designed for players looking for a balance of durability and performance at first base. Made from Wilson’s Pro Stock leather, the A1000 offers a reliable break-in period and maintains its shape well over time, which is important for consistent catching and scooping. This model’s length helps cover the area around the bag, providing a good reach without being cumbersome. It’s a right-hand throw glove, intended for players who throw with their right hand and catch with their left. Ideal for youth to intermediate players, the 12.5" size is suited for first basemen who need a glove with a larger pocket to secure throws and field ground balls efficiently. The glove’s break-in and structure support quick transfers and comfortable movement on the field. This listing is for a used glove, so expect typical wear consistent with regular use.

Perfect glove for:

Players roughly ten to fourteen who want pro pattern shapes in a softer, smaller glove.

The Wilson A1000 is a full grain leather baseball glove built in Wilson's A2000 factory. The same craftsmen who build A2000 gloves cut and shape these. Patterns copy A2K and A2000 models to identical specifications. The leather is softer, so the glove feels game-ready sooner. Wilson lists the line for players roughly ten to fourteen years old.
