The Build & Condition This is a modern Marucci Oxbow series catcher's mitt, model OX235C1, spec’d at a full 33.5 inches. It features a sharp, classic tan leather shell highlighted by clean white leather trim and welting. Crucially, this model features Marucci's M Type fit system stamp. Instead of standard, exposed thumb and pinky loops that can rub or pinch, the M Type system uses integrated, cushioned internal sleeves for both fingers.  The mitt is in very good condition. The full-grain cowhide leather shell is completely intact with no cracking or structural wear. The interior hand stall is clean, the microfiber wrist lining is smooth, and the professional-grade rawhide laces hold strong, tight tension throughout the entire perimeter. * I noticed some cracking on the white piping on the lower part of the webbing. See photos for a close-up. I'm not worried about the structural integrity of the glove, but it does need to be pointed out. Usually you see that type of wear on the back of the wrist, but that part of the glove is still in perfect shape. Go figure. Otherwise, it looks like it has seen about a season of use, meaning the brutal initial break-in process is already out of the way, but the leather still retains excellent firmness and structure. How It Plays * The Big Target: At 33.5 inches, this pattern gives your pitcher a massive, highly visible target behind the dish. It's still light though-- if you know your Wilsons, it has more of a feel of a A2500 than an A2403. In catcher's terms, this glove is way more Sean Murphy than Pudge Rodriguez. Bottom line, solid modern glove which is already broken in and has a ton of life ahead!
