Spalding LH 42-3016 Jim Palmer Baseball Glove 12" (Used)

I'm a sucker for old gloves and this Spalding 42-3016 is a Jim Palmer Professional Model that I honestly don't see a lot of out there. I got it off ebay and had to spend considerable time fixing it up, as the leather was in sorry shape. I did four rounds of cleaning and conditioning on this one to make sure it softened up, and eventually the original color started returning. Then I relaced it all with tan Rawlings laces, added some salve as well, and used acrylic markers to redo the Spalding logo and some other lettering. There is one torn loop in the webbing but it doesn't impact the performance of the glove and I had no problem playing catch in the backyard with my travel ball player. Also, the circular Spalding logo is missing (as pictured). This glove is a relic of the 1970s just like me, and it's ready for a new life!
