Akadema RH Catcher's APM66 Fastpitch Softball Glove 34" (Used)

This Akadema 34” softball catcher's glove is designed with a Praying Mantis pattern, Spiral-Lock web, open back Akadema’s exclusive Grasp-Clasp wrist system, and deep pocket designed for the serious fastpitch catcher. With the patented "Stress Wedge" technology, located between the index finger and thumb, the Praying Mantis is designed to offer shock absorbing protection for the hand against injury and sting when receiving the ball. The Praying Mantis also offers two additional "Finger Hammocks" allowing the fingers to be firmly positioned and more secure in the glove. Additional features include the "Double-sided Slim Padding" allowing for increased pocket size and easier ball retention. Uniquely designed shape allows the throwing hand easier access into the pocket, resulting in a quicker glove to hand transfer and faster times to second base. The Praying Mantis also features a "Double Flexhinge" which makes the glove snap closed on contact. This has been my favorite glove catching my daughter who's moving on to play college ball soon. I have three of these I will be selling. PLEASE NOTE: I would not recommend a player or mom/dad buy this glove to catch pitchers who throw velo over the mid 50's. The shock absorbing protection isn't as good as what it was when the glove was brand new. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this glove for moms/dads that are working with a younger pitcher. It's all broken in for your use. Super comfortable and oustanding quality, and a superb deal for a used glove! This one has a few really minor blemishes in the pocket but works as great as the others I've listed.
