The ride fuse boots are well known for being responsive and supportive. They have a firm flex so great if you are looking for aggressive riding - think laps in the park or charging down groomers. They have a hybrid Boa Tongue Tied system to pull your heel solidly into the back corner. Metal gussets on the laces (not going to break as easily and that’s what you’re looking for in a premium boot like this). Its “slime tongue” helps dampen the ride as well as rebound/snap back on jumps or when popping toe to heel side. Durability-wise it has a rubber toe cap and Michelin outsole so it is built to last. It’s got a neoprene storm shield to keep the snow out if you are hiking in the park or digging out. It has the Intuition wrap liner, which instead of having a seam in the front, wraps around the side of your foot, giving you a very nice feel…your shins are essentially wrapped completely around so you don’t get that little gap between the front of your shin and the liner itself. Lastly, it’s got a really rigid back stay so it’s good to ride for a long period of time and will stand up to 60 days on the mountain if that’s what you are planning.
