The condition rating system evaluates both the top sheet and base condition on a scale that informs you of the amount of cosmetic damage visible on the ski with the condition scale running from 10 as a brand new ski that has never been used down to 6 with significant cosmetic damage. Top Condition 7.0 This top sheet condition may have moderate to heavy amounts of scratching to the surface of the tip and tails from ski usage. The edges may have five or more chips to the top sheet as well as large gouges or heavy scratches may be present. There may be chips or gouges that have been repaired by epoxy or may need repaired by epoxy. Base Condition 7.0 This base condition will have lots of scratching through the base. It will have some deep scratches and gouges that require P-TEX repairs and a tune. These skis do not need any base welds to be repaired and are safe to use and can be used out of the box; however, we recommend repairs and a tune be made to this ski to maximize your experience on the ski.
