Still cleaning the garage! Going to let these babies go. This is a nearly new pair of 2022 Stockli Laser AR Sun Valley specials! I purchased these from a skier who noticed that they had been sold to him with mismatched serial numbers by mistake, and he could not get past that. So now you can get a smoking deal on them. I mounted a Head Race Plate and a Head Freeflex Pro (5-16) binding on them to give me that added lift and power... and these are incredible! These have 1 degree base and 2 degree side angles - hey - I live in the west and don't need the ice angles for our snow! Loads of base, and all of the edges are still there. Search all of the Stockli discussions online. They are awesome skis. I just don't want to leave them hanging in my garage. Tops and bottoms are very clean. I tried to take a ton of pics. If interested, and want additional pics or different base structure, let me know, and I can provide. Here are the details from Stockli: radius: 16.5 m at 175 cm sidecut: 130/83/112 mm at 175 cm The Laser AR is the widest ski in Stockli’s Piste collection. With its 83 mm waist width, this ski is part frontside carver and part versatile all-mountain ski. Stockli uses a Light Core with two supporting sheets of metal in its construction. Torsion Racing Technology is included in the titanal layers, where Stockli adds a slit in the tip and tail of the ski through the middle of the metal. The idea is to actually reduce torsional stiffness in the extremities of the ski, which makes turn initiation a little easier, and also allows for easier edge release when you get out of a carve. The shape is mostly camber with subtle amounts of rocker. The rocker is designed in what Stockli calls Adaptive Contact Length. As you tip the ski further on edge, you get a longer effective edge and more grip. That means the harder you’re skiing and the higher your edge angle, the more powerful the ski will feel, which is an awesome feature. If keep the ski on a flatter plane, you benefit from increased maneuverability from the rocker, which is beneficial in moguls and other situations where you need to make quick movements.
