An excellent powder ski that rides smooth and damp enough to manage the groomers with ease, Salomon’s QST 118 features a 118mm waist, lightweight body, and plenty of float in the tips and tails to master even the deepest days. Attached are Salomon Warden 13 MNC bindings, compatible with both alpine and gripwalk boot soles. Skis are in good shape “While some might bemoan the death of the ever-popular Rocker2 122, the Salomon QST 118 Skis represent the pinnacle of powder skiing development. With Koroyd tips and tails for a lower swing weight, and Twin Rocker technology, the QST 118s will be your weapon of choice when conditions are all-time. But don’t think these behemoths can’t hang on the hardpack either; CFX Superfiber (it’s French for carbon and flax mixed together), and a Titanal spine combine for a torsionally stiff ride that rails hardpack and windbuff with ease. Snag the Salomon QST 118 Skis and enjoy one tool for a variety of freeriding.”

Perfect skis for:
Skiers looking for a smooth yet powerful ski that will instill confidence on any terrain you come across.

The Salomon QST series is a versatile all-mountain ski. With various shapes and rocker profiles, these skis excel in both on-piste and off-piste conditions. Carbon Powered C/FX technology enhances dampening and power, while full ABS sidewalls and Powerframe Ti ensure edge grip and stability.

I’ve tried out a number of skis within the Salomon QST family since they were introduced back in 2016. There’s a huge number of different models out there, but they all share a few common features: namely, ease of control and maneuverability across a variety of conditions and terrain types. Keep an eye out for QST 106s and later models, as that model is the first to feature a large swathe of updates to improve performance.
