This is an a front side ripper with some (emphasis on "some") off piste ability. This is the RACE PLATE version which makes it stiffer than the normal retail version. It also features the Marker XComp 16 binding making this ski and binding combo capable of any fast skiing you can throw at it. This also makes a fantastic beer league race ski...that you can then go ski around on. If you are a racer or ex-racer looking for a ski that lives up to your ability but is not super skinny under foot, you will not be disappointed with this ski. Freshly tuned with a 0.5 base bevel and 87 degree (3 degree) side bevel. It grips ice and hardpack like you would not believe. Retail $1,600...buy them now ready to ski (once you adjust your bindings) for almost 1/2 price! Radius 17m; 126-76-107 Review: "There’s a whole lot of fast fun to be had on the 2023 Blizzard Firebird HRC. Structurally unchanged from last year, the HRC is the wider-bodied version of the WRC, coming in at 76 mm underfoot. While this still keeps it squarely in the front side category, from a shape, build, and profile perspective, it is nice to have that extra width in the ski for imperfect snow and mild adventures. Full camber means full edge grip, which is great for high-performance skiers who are looking for true tip to tail contact and smoothness. If you’re looking to rip up the front side of the mountain, leaving nothing but deep and round trenches in your wake, the Blizzard Firebird HRC is the tool for the job. With a strong build, a wider-bodied shape, and full camber in the profile, these skis are ready and willing to take you from the top to the bottom really, really fast." ***BINDINGS--Please note that the bindings were set and adjusted for my specific boots. YOU are responsible for ensuring that the bindings are properly mounted and DIN settings are set properly to your equipment, age, skier type, etc. I am not responsible for the proper functioning of your boots/bindings.
