This is just simply a fantastic frontside carver for women. Easy to initiate turns but, with the Laser technology, it gets stiffer as you go faster. This is a great ski for an intermediate looking to advance to expert or an expert looking for a fun, fast carver. It has a great 12 din binding that is easily adjustable to fit almost any boot size. A very maneuverable radius allows you to make slalom-like turns but it is easy to let these skis rip. My wife has skied them at up to 45mph with no chatter and concern. Very fun, precise, stable skis. Radius 12.6m; 118-67-99 $1,400 when new so this is only a little more than 1/2 price! Review: "The Stockli Laser MX is the first ever Laser ski designed exclusively for women. Stockli has built a precision carving ski, but with a softer flex pattern and a lighter weight than most competitors. They start with a lightweight wood core that’s sandwiched between two full sheets of metal. We often talk about Stockli and what makes their skis more expensive than others. In this case, a lot of the value is held in that combination of edge grip and precision with a relatively forgiving feel. The Laser MX is definitely a dedicated carving ski. It’s best for someone who will be using it on trail at least 90% of the time. 67 mm is a little too narrow to take off trail into softer snow conditions, so not the best choice if you’re looking for a true all-mountain ski. Skiers who are specifically looking for a frontside ski and especially one with a preference for quick turns and a lot of energy will absolutely love the Laser MX." ***BINDINGS--Please note that the bindings were set and adjusted for specific boots. YOU are responsible for ensuring that the bindings are properly mounted and DIN settings are set properly to your equipment, age, skier type, etc. I am not responsible for the proper functioning of your boots/bindings.
