Rosignol Hero FIS GS Women's Downhill Race Skis 188 cm. with Race Plates

This listing is for a very nice pair of Rossigol Hero FIS GS Race Skis. The top sheets are nice, the edges are sharp and the bases are smooth. They are mounted with race plates (15 mm. front and tapered rear). These skis have storage wax to protect the bases. Length: 176 cm. Tip Width: 101 mm. Waist Width: 65 mm. Tail Width: 81 mm. Turning Radius: 30 m. This GS race ski from 2017 still meets FIS requirements for women in the 188 cm length and is also an awesome choice for any male ski racer who doesn't yet have to adhere to strict FIS standards for turn radius. The 185 and 188 cm lengths both have a 30 m radius. The longer of the two lengths is absolutely perfect for FIS level women's races, as the minimum length requirement is 188 cm. Both lengths, however, work really well for men and women alike in USSA and other non-FIS level ski racing. It's actually a really nice stepping stone ski for men who are coming off of shorter radius GS skis like junior skis, but don't want to jump all the way up to the men's 193 cm minimum length for men's FIS racing. The 30 m radius gives you a good feeling of what skiing a longer radius GS ski is like, but in a more manageable length.
