These are a phenomenal deep-powder ski that has proven to be very maneuverable and fun to use. Handcrafted in Northern Michigan at Shaggy’s Copper Country Skis, these skis are the real deal. Personally, I have owned these skis for the past 7 years and skied them all across the country: the west, Midwest, and east coast. Whether I was in waist deep powder out in Targhee, wiggling my way through powder lines in the Minnesota bluffs, or dragging hip on bullet proof ice in Vermont, these skis were able to do the job. One thing about these skis is I had them mounted in the center, which I did because it allowed me to ski through really narrow lines much easier and have a lot of tail to work with when skiing powder to do tricks and that sort of thing. Of course, you could have them remounted if it came down to it. Included with these skis are Marker Demo bindings that go up to 13 din. These skis have been heavily used, and do exhibit a fair amount of wear such as: minor top sheet damage, some base damage (no core shots but there are some gouges that are certainly groundable), some edge nicks or rock grinds/chips). Realistically, these skis are perfectly skiable as is, but if you really want the absolute best performance out of them it would probably be wise to take them to a shop and get them base-ground. That being said, Shaggy’s is an incredible brand, and these skis have been a true joy to own. The only reason I am selling them now is because I bought a new pair this year from them. If you have any questions or would like to follow up about these skis, feel free to shoot me a message and I’ll get back to you as quickly as I can. Happy Skiing!
