The Volkl Racetiger GS 193 cm is a racing ski engineered for giant slalom skiing, known for its stability and precise edge control at higher speeds. It features a radius between 26 and 30 meters, which supports carving longer, sweeping turns essential for GS courses. The skis come equipped with an ALU-PRO plate, which enhances power transmission and responsiveness by providing a stiffer, more direct connection between the boot and ski. This pair is sold without bindings and is used. These skis suit advanced to expert racers or strong intermediates focusing on GS skiing who value consistent edge grip and stable performance on hard-packed snow. The 193 cm length works well for taller or heavier skiers capable of managing the longer radius, as it allows for smoother, more controlled arcs at speed. Buyers should be comfortable with race-style skiing and prepared to add bindings suited to their boots and style.

Perfect skis for:

Advanced skiers who enjoy carving turns and pushing their limits.

The Völkl Racetiger GS skis offer exceptional performance on the giant slalom slopes. Tailored Carbon Tip technology provides precise torsional control, allowing for a more direct and agile approach to the gate. These skis also feature Full Sidewall ABSm which offer durability and impact resistance, protecting the ski from the rigors of racing. These skis are a top choice for competitive skiers seeking speed, stability, and precision.

“

Although Volkl doesn’t quite have the profile of some other ski manufacturers, I’ve always enjoyed heading up the chairlift clipped into a couple of their skis. The Volkl Racetiger GS Skis are my favorite skis for those days you’re going to spend on hard or even icy slopes, since they have the strength and bite to keep you feeling confident in challenging conditions. They’re fast enough to be used in junior competition, if that’s what you’re looking for, but they’re also versatile enough to work as a day-to-day ski.
