The condition rating system evaluates both the top sheet and base condition on a scale that informs you of the amount of cosmetic damage visible on the ski with the condition scale running from 10 as a brand new ski that has never been used down to 6 with significant cosmetic damage. Top Sheet Condition 9.0 This top sheet condition will have very thin scratches or scuffing to the top layer of the ski. These scratches will be minimal in size and few in quantity. Any scratches that have occurred are from standard ski usage or storage. Base Condition 7.5 This base condition describes a ski that may have a fair amount of scratching across the ski base. It will have a few deep scratches and gouges that may require P-TEX repairs and a tune. These skis do not need any base welds to be repaired and are safe to use out of the box; however, we recommend repairs and a tune on this ski to maximize your skiing experience.
