This used 2025 Völkl Mantra 88 (the new name for the former Kendo 88) is a powerful, frontside-focused all-mountain ski engineered for advanced skiers who want a stable, energetic feel on groomed snow while retaining versatility for off-piste exploration. With an 88mm waist, it is exceptionally quick from edge to edge, making it an excellent carving tool. The ski features Völkl's high-performance construction, centered around a Multilayer Woodcore and reinforced with a Tailored Titanal Frame. This key technology ensures the amount of Titanal metal is adapted precisely for each ski length (reducing it slightly for shorter lengths like this 170cm to maintain agility) for an optimal balance of dampening and stiffness. Tailored Carbon Tips use strategically placed carbon fibers to enhance the precision and responsiveness of turn initiation. The 3D Radius Sidecut is the heart of the ski's versatility; the short 15m radius underfoot (for this length) allows for incredibly quick, tight turns, while the longer radii in the tip and tail provide the necessary stability for high-speed, long-radius arcs. Condition: Top Sheet Condition: 8.0: This top sheet condition will have some noticeable scratching to the surface from general ski usage. These top sheets may have one or two very small chips that do not compromise the integrity of the ski’s top sheet. Base Condition: 8.5: This base condition will have some noticeable scratching on some or most of the base. These scratches and scuffs could be removed with a fresh tune without any need for P-TEX repairs needed. There is no deep gouging or pitting on the base currently. These bases may show minor P-TEX repairs from the past but do not need any more. These skis have a fresh coat of wax on them and are ready to hit the slope.
