The Speedmachine 3 115W represents the culmination of a lot of their technologies, all grouped into one great boot. At 100 mm in the forefoot and with a more gratuitous instep fit, your feet will be able to breathe a bit, but not much. There’s some room for circulation, but also quite a bit of snugness for performance. Thanks to a few new technologies for this year, you’re getting a pretty sweet boot with a nice, light weight. The 3D Force Technology liner has a cork heel pocket that can easily be custom-molded by a boot fitter so that the boots feel like they were made for your feet. The adjustable tongue gives an added dimension of comfort and performance, allowing the user to better-dictate how to adjust the boot to fit their needs and wants. In the shell, Nordica uses their 3D Force 3D shell, including a honeycomb-shaped insert in the shell and cuff that increases stiffness and precision but at a lighter weight. As a result, you’ll be able to move your boot around to make the turns you need at any point in the run.
