2020/21 Technica Mach 1 MV (Medium Volume) downhill boots, 130 flex. Men's size 255. These are superb top-of-the-line high-performance alpine boots for confident advanced and expert skiers. I purchased them new in December 2020. I have skied on them exactly 78 days. Note that some modifications have been made, as follow: 1.) Liner tongues have been modified (see photo) to reduce instep pressure. 2.) Zeppas have been thinned down for the same reason. 3.) The anklebone area on the inside of the left boot has been punched out very slightly to accommodate a slightly thicker ankle onto side. 4.) I have added Grip Walk soles, not original, but will also include the original soles. Also included are alternative polycarbonate T-Drive spines to replace the carbon fiber ones--this can make the flex ever so slightly softer, but to be fair, I think the decrease in flex with these is barely noticeable. To get the most out of them, you'll likely want to get Intuition or Zip Fit liners (unless the liner/tongue mods my boot fitter made work for you). The original insoles are missing, but of course you'll want custom insoles. Why am I selling? Well, in 2022 I had a severe skiing fall, *very* severely fracturing both my ankle and shoulder. I was 62 at the time, have recovered and resumed skiing last season. But, unfortunately, these are now just too much boot for me, they are rather unforgiving and do not work with the hardware that's now in my ankle. I hope they will find a good home.
