Fischer brings the Ranger 12 Vacuum to the table with more features than a Swiss Army Knife. This is a high performance boot with a 120 flex for advanced to expert level skiers who ski the entire mountain and require a hike mode in their boot for the occasional skin or boot pack. This four buckle design features a Hike, Ride and Lock mode feature. The Hike mode allows for maximum freedom of motion for the cuff so you can walk/hike/skin easily. The Ride mode blocks the cuff at the back and allows for a free flowing smooth front flex for smearing those perfect powder turns. Lock mode blocks the entire cuff creating maximum performance on the hardpack. Thats not all folks. The Ranger 12 Vacuum also features an adjustable spoiler for on and off piste modes. Pop the spoiler out for more forward lean and increased on piste performance. Lower the spoiler for less forward lean in softer and deeper snow conditions. Shock Absorption technology helps ease the impact when dropping cliffs or hitting jumps. Vibram Soles increase grip and help you out when hiking over rocky, technical terrain. When compared to the Hybrid 12 Plus, the Ranger 12 adds grippier soles, and a shock absorber for bigger stomps. Fischer recommends custom fitting these boots with the Fischer Vacuum system, but it is not necessary. These boots work just as well without the fitting.
