This is a top-level performance/race boot, for technical skiing, racing , or a hard charging all mountain skier. The 140 flex is a lot softer that the number implies. I am a very strong 148 lbs instructor and flex the boot as needed. It came to me too late to use and I had to purchase a duplicate retail.
