Description

This basketball was given to a ball boy at a Minnesota Muskies ABA game in 1967, the first year of existence for the ABA (American Basketball Association). The ball features an early ABA logo as well as a printed signature from the league's commissioner. When given to the ball boy, the ball had been signed by the team's players. However, some outdoor use of the ball removed the visible aspects of the signatures. While the ball is in a worn condition, it still holds air and is a representation of a very different time in basketball.
