The shell on the Bauer C1 mask is constructed from ultra lightweight carbon fiber, reinforced with TeXtreme exterior. TeXtreme is an ultra lightweight strong carbon fiber weighing 20 percent less than conventional carbon without sacrificing strength.
The outer edge of the Concept C1 goalie helmet is reinforced with an extra layer of carbon adding to the overall strength as well as reduces chipping. Special attention to the shell shape increases strength and helps divert the pucks energy on impact for increased safety. Various ventilation wholes throughout the mask reduces weight and allows plenty of air flow, keeping you cooler during the game.
The Concept C1 certified helmet comes with Bauer's extremely light titanium oval wire cage providing excellent corrosion resistance and protection. Bauer's (SAW) Shock Absorbing Wire technology improves impact absorption and reduces cage denting adding to the durability and protection. The SUSPEND-TECH liner on the Concept C1 goalie helmet is mechanically attached with PORON XRD foam inserts providing outstanding shock absorption and comfort.
The fit comes from the five point strapping system and back plate allowing goaltenders to achieve the correct fit. The mask also comes with an upgraded chin cup with grooves allowing excess sweet to drip out as well as a standard chip strap.
