The Orlando Thunder was one of the original NFL World League teams before the transition to NFL Europe. Lee Corso was the GM, and featured several NFL players in their two years of existence, including Scott Mitchell and Kerwin Bell among others. The Thunder had a widely popular uniform combination. This unique and rare piece is in remarkably good shape considering it’s age and rarity. The jersey shows minimal signs of washing, no evidence of a nameplate removal and is in like-new condition. The Wilson size 48 jock tag is 100% consistent with the actual game worn jerseys. This piece compares precisely to any photo searches of the team wearing these exact jerseys. Two players wore #20 for the Thunder. This does not appear to be game used and without a nameplate can’t be attributed to either player directly, but they were the only two players to wear #20.
