Used maybe one season
The ECD Lacrosse Ion is designed for fast attackers, utilizing patented Diamond Plastic for lightness and durability. Its aerodynamic shape reduces wind resistance and improves control, enabling quick shooting. ECD suggests a mid-low pocket for optimal ball handling and rapid releases.
The Ion is super light. I've used the same head for 1 1/2 years, and it's still lasted. Not a crack! And I haven't needed to get it restrung. The head doesn't warp, and it's held up great. The Ion is perfect for players who like light setups.

Used an ion for a while. Probably one of the best face shapes and offsets on the market. Durability is the only flaw.
It's hard to not look like poetry in motion when the ION moves on the field. It is an excellent choice for those that want a matching swag to their personality. In all colors, the ION is recognizable by all opponents. The player that wields the ION means business.
Really lived this head, performed well for 4 years without breaking. Nice wide shape, but still great for shooting. Used as a two way middle.
The ion is probably one of all around best heads for any offense related position, honestly it’s stiff and durable enough for an LSM as well
It’s very light and has a good face shape. I haven’t experienced any warping with these heads.
