You can get a lot of use out of the Rebel without really trashing it. And the defensive head is made to be stiff. It won't bend in any way, which defensemen like, especially when playing at the higher level. The more checks you throw, the more warped a head can get. The sidewalls are solid on the Rebel. A player can throw some pretty strong checks.
