Fear The Turtle! Any Maryland fans out there? Under Armour is a Baltimore based company, so of course I ran with the Maryland theme for my first UA set-up!
• I wasn’t so sure about this UA Charge at first. Decided to pick it up out of curiosity, and now I love it! I honestly think any player on the field from close defense to the feeding attackman could use this head. Overall it has a great shape which allows for multiple pocket positions and a great hold and release. I don’t say this about every stick I run across. Some sticks I think have an awkward shape that can make for difficult stringing, all while still being great heads. This is not one of those! Lightweight at only 4.7oz but still maintains a great deal of stiffness. *New with tags*
• Strung up with a Stanwick Pita middle to low in the head. The ball sits right in the sweet spot of the stick and has a great hold and feel to it. I could see this pocket working out well for myself as a quick release feeding/dodging attackman or for a power dodging midfielder. The sidewalls are strung down the inside of the head providing a narrow channel and a ton of hold One hockey lace and two Maryland themed nylon shooters across the top for a great full release and ball feel. JimaLax leathers and traditional real hockey lace for shooters always. *Shooters can be adjusted upon request to meet player specifications prior to shipment.*
