STX Stallion HS Head

Product Description

The STX Stallion is a structurally sound and extremely durable lacrosse head featuring C-Channel Technology and braces on the sidewalls for extra reinforcement. C-Channel Technology helps to increase the strength of the head by distributing stress evenly along the bottom rail during face-offs, while scooping up ground balls, or when enduring a hard check. The STX Stallion is specifically designed with a high-pocket in mind, but there are 15 stringing holes for a variety of different stringing options to fit player preferences. The high-pocket helps players achieve a quick release and maintain excellent ball control throughout the game. The tight pinch opens up nicely at the top, which gives high school players a great opportunity to develop ball control and scoop up ground balls. The STX Stallion is also designed with ground balls in mind as the rounded scoop helps a player get under the ball with ease.

Expert Notes

The STX Stallion is the next great lacrosse head for two-way midfielders looking to make an impact at both ends of the field. The tight pinch along with the wide scoop helps develop the perfect high pocket for players whose game is centered around precision passing and hard shots. Players love the C-Channel technology because it adds significantly more strength and stiffness to create a consistent, powerful release. Essentially, this means that the head will not flex on impact, allowing the player to land hard checks and to have consistent, hard shots. The bottom rail is also specifically designed to make a premium high pocket with low whip and high hold, which helps players increase the speed of their shots while dodging through traffic. The head also has a very rounded scoop, which helps create a quick transition from the turf to the center of your pocket. The STX Stallion is legal for NFHS and youth level players, and is a great head for high-impact offensive players looking to run and gun this season.
