Vintage and rare goalie rollerblades – SwitchIt blades/wheels with Lange boots

This is what I believe to be the only pair of Switch-It rollerblade put onto an actual goalie skate boot. The boots are vintage Lange goalie skates from the mid-1980s, and they are mine. I wore Lange’s during my time playing college hockey and a few years after I was done playing (and the real blades were too bent to keep using) I moved to Bauer and put the Switch-It rollerblades on these. These boots were used in ice hockey games, but are still in very good shape. Lange boots were very durable and protective back in the day. These have the actual goalie style low-cut back, allowing for a more traditional goalie skate feel, and skating style. I used them a few times, then just kept moving them around over the year. Now, it is time for them to find a new home. The boots I believe are size 10, but I am not 100% certain. The liners in the boots are from a pair of size 10 Mission skates. That was the only brand of these that was in the selling list, so I used it. The original liners just wore out and these fit great. Be aware, these are heavy skates. They were heavy on the ice and heavy with the rollerblades. What they have is incredible protection…and the real goalie skate boot.
