Bauer Vapor Hyperlite 2 Ice Hockey Skates Intermediate Size 6.5 Fit 1. The all-new Vapor Hyperlite 2 skate line is built for ultimate quickness and agility. Vapor skates feature stiffer and more supportive material in the upper portion of the skate, as well as increased flex and responsiveness in the lower part of the boot. A couple of big upgrades Bauer put into the skates include the PowerFly Holder, Aerolite 2.0 Tongue, improved eyelets, and better materials in the outsole for a more comfortable and responsive skate. Skates are in excellent condition with minimal wear. There is some moderate scuffing on the boots and holders of the skates. These skates come with the steel as pictured in the listing. I've had multiple pairs of the HyperLites, both retail and custom-made. It's like the HyperLite took the best elements from all the top Vapor skates and made them even lighter and more comfortable. The Hyperlite is the lightest skate I've ever used. It's almost so light that you need to get adjusted to putting pressure differently using your blades because heavier skates do give you a little extra weight. Also, it's a great travel skate. Everything is weight-based if you're flying somewhere, so the HyperLite is an excellent option.
