Extremely rare.. these are concept skates Bauer made to test different color schemes for the APX2 skates.
In reality these are the original APX skates (released in 2011) with a different paint / design job which makes them extremely rare.
The Bauer APX’s were the top of the line skate back in 2011, retailing for $800 usd.
Photo 11 and 12 show the difference weight (grams) of the APX’s and the new Bauer Mach’s. You’ll notice that the APX’s are actually lighter than the new model skates.
While technology has changed slightly over the past 13 years, these skates are still fantastic.
This was the last model Bauer made without the trigger tuuk technology they released with the APX2 model.
