Kept in great condition (clean, no smell, dry) put immediately on boot dryers after every wear and transferred in sauna like conditions to finish drying. Blades always removed and dried to prevent rusting or trigger malfunction. Comes with 2 sets of blades both always sharpened to 1/2. One set for synthetic ice at our home and other for ice but both have been sharpened for ice. Brand new wax laces have been put on for my son’s last power skate in them. Maintained very well in a smoke free home
