Through strategic weight reduction and key flex zones, the HyperLite helps to spring players past the competition and onto a whole new level of performance. The HyperFlex system targets the facing system and outsole to increase lateral stability, forward flex and forefoot wrap. The HyperFlex outsole uses composite in the front with a dual-injected material rear to increase torsional flex for better blade contact during turns and transitions, all without compromising starting energy transfer. The HyperFlex facing features integrated flex zones which allows for better lower eyelet wrap while promoting better forward flex through the upper eyelets, all of which lead to faster acceleration and agility. For weight reduction, the Bauer HyperLite boasts the AeroLite system. Starting with the AeroLite felt-less tongue that is 15% lighter without compromising comfort or protection. In fact, the full-foam construction allows the tongue to better mold to the top of the foot during the baking process. Internally, the AeroLite foam package is 5% lighter than traditional memory foams with the same comfortable fit and feel right out of the box. The last but not least update for the HyperLite is the steel selection process which includes the innovative LS CarbonLite runner. The new CarbonLite is 35% lighter and more responsive than its traditional steel counterparts thanks to the carbon composite upper.
