These are pretty much brand new. We bought them just before Covid and then my son grew out of them when it was finally time to get back on the ice. I think he used them maybe 3 times. This liner offers some good grip and moisture-wicking properties, helping to secure the foot into the boot, especially in the heel area. This locked-in technology helps to prevent the foot from sliding. With the foot secured in place, overall skating performance will be improved. At the top of the skate, a 30oz Felt tongue with mesh metatarsal guard offers even more comfort, protection, and added flexibility to improve skating. The 3X Youth Skate includes the Tuuk Lightspeed PRO II holder. This feature offers enhanced energy transfer when striding by tightly securing the runner in place. For the runner, Bauer includes their TUUK Stainless Steel, providing good durability.
