These are rare game-worn skates of star forward Taylor Hall when he played for the New Jersey Devils. He brought these Bauer Vapor 1X skates with him to Arizona after the Coyotes obtained him in a Dec. 16, 2019 trade. The skates show good overall use and have a #9 sticker on each undersole that is in shape of the state of New Jersey. Both skates are size 9 1/2 EA, which is slightly wider than the normal foot. Hall has removed both insoles from the boot. He was a first-round draft pick of Edmonton in 2010 and played for the Oilers from 2010-16 before being with the Devils from 2017 until his trade to Arizona. Hall was named the NHL's MVP after getting 34 goals and 54 assists in 76 games in the 2017-18 season, becoming the first Devils player ever to win that award. Hall had 10 goals and 17 assists in 35 games for the Coyotes to finish the 2019-20 season and was not dominant in the playoffs. Hall is now with the Boston Bruins after being traded from the Buffalo Sabres on April 12, 2021.These skates were obtained directly from the Coyotes.
