Here's the story on these skates. I bought them on Sideline Swap from a seller in Manitoba. They are Keegan Kolesar game used skates, from the Vegas Golden Knights, but these were a pair of skates he used during his junior hockey days in the WHL. They are size 9 E & W (wider width) with Tuuk Lightspeed Edge holders and LS2 steel. The size of the holders and steel is 288. I am selling these reluctantly because they are just a bit wide for me and I used them twice, each time for about 15 minutes, and they definitely are too wide for me. When I bought these skates, they had no steel, no footbeds, no laces, heavily rusted rivets, and I had some of the rivets replaced at my hockey shop but the press they used did create an imprint on the edge of each replaced rivet, creating slight damage. The old rivets got rusted so bad that the rust went into small areas of the outsole of the skates, although it is only significant on one skate and not as bad on the other. I have done my best to show as much of the wear/damage in the pictures. Kolesar wore #28 for the Seattle Thunderbirds and the number is embroidered on the tongues of both skates. But believe me, these skates aren't all worn to bits. The boot portions of both skates are in good condition considering the wear and damage to the other parts of the skates. The boots of the skates, because they are pro stock, are still very stiff, and heat moldable if you chose to do so. The tongues of the skates are in good condition as well. So overall, I put some money into these skates hoping they would work for me and bought brand new steel, but I think someone else out there would benefit from these more than me, despite the wear. Any questions, message me, and I will try and respond as soon as possible.
