Inside the boot, Bauer combines Comfort Edge and Aero Foam padding for added support, as well as some personalized comfort in the ankle thanks to the thermoformable properties of these technologies. The Vapor X2.9 skate includes a hydrophobic microfiber liner and Bauer’s Form-Fit+ footbed. The liner provides good support, a soft feel, and moisture-management properties to help wick sweat away and keep your foot secured in the boot. And the footbed is lined with memory foam underneath for true comfort as soon as you step into the skate. This model also includes a two-piece, 48-oz. felt tongue injected with a metatarsal guard for solid protection, comfort, and good flexibility when skating.
