Building on the success of the previous Catalyst skate lineup, the True Catalyst 7X4 Senior Ice Hockey Skates deliver elite-level performance with an updated design. Built for serious players looking to elevate their game, these skates combine exceptional fit, comfort, and performance to handle the speed and physical demands of competitive hockey. ***Boot*** - **NEUROFIT+ Shell:** The 7X4 features True's patented NEUROFIT+ one-piece carbon fiber shell, a high-end thermoformable construction designed to provide an exceptional fit and maximize energy transfer, reducing energy loss with every stride. Improved carbon fiber layering techniques also provide enhanced impact protection. - **CARV Toe Cap:** The redesigned CARV toe cap improves ice clearance during sharp turns, allowing players to lean deeper into their edges for more aggressive cuts and powerful movements. - **Poured PU Side Panels:** Reinforced polyurethane side panels provide additional protection in high-wear areas, offering excellent resistance to abrasion and extending overall durability. - **Molded Tongue:** A lightweight pro-style tongue equipped with a molded T-guard delivers a secure fit, improved comfort, and reliable protection. - **Flex Tendon Guard:** A flexible tendon guard secured with a single rivet allows for greater flexion and an increased range of motion. ***Interior*** - **Clarino Liner:** The Clarino liner provides a secure, locked-in fit while offering moisture-wicking properties to help keep feet dry and comfortably positioned inside the boot. ***Holder/Runner/Sole*** - **Plastic Base Shell:** A plastic insert integrated into the shell enhances durability and improves rivet retention, helping maintain a secure connection between the holder and boot. - **Stainless Steel Rivets:** Stainless steel rivets provide improved holding strength compared to traditional copper rivets. - **Shift Max Holder:** True's Shift Max holder returns with enhanced durability and blade security, featuring an easy-change system that allows for quick and convenient blade replacements. - **Shift Max Runner:** Shift Max runners are constructed from high-grade 9CR stainless steel and are designed for compatibility with the Shift Max holder.
