These Bauer Vapor 3X hockey skates from 2021 are designed to deliver responsive performance with a focus on quick acceleration and agile movement. The Vapor line features a low kick point, promoting fast blade release—ideal for players who rely on quick bursts and sharp turns. The skates have a regular (D&R) width, striking a balance between comfort and support, and are sized Junior 2.5, fitting smaller feet typical of youth players. Being used, they offer broken-in comfort without sacrificing structural integrity. These skates are suitable for youth players looking to improve speed and maneuverability on the ice. The regular width accommodates most foot shapes comfortably without excessive tightness or looseness. Ideal for developing players who need equipment that supports quick transitions and explosive stride mechanics.

Perfect skates for:

Players who need skates that provide a custom fit.

The Bauer Vapor 3X hockey skates are ideal for performance-driven players who skate frequently and need a balance of comfort and value. They feature a lightweight composite boot for support and custom fit, a comfortable 40-ounce felt tongue, and a durable Lightspeed Edge holder with LS+ stainless steel blades. Known for quickness and agility, the Vapor line offers the 3X as an affordable option that retains many features of higher-end models.

“

The 3X was released close to the HyperLite, which was a revolutionary skate at the time, so it kinda got lost in the mix. It's still a good skate and very similar to the 3X Pro model but without as much comfort. It's a mid- to upper-level fully composite skate with a felt tongue and a hydrophobic liner with a great grip.
