These 2015 Bauer Nexus 8000 hockey skates are a pro stock model that I purchased used in 2018. Bauer marketed this model as their lightest skate in the 2015 lineup. I have worn them occasionally for beer league games, and their condition has stayed mostly consistent since then. No size is marked on the skates due to their pro stock status but in terms of fit, I usually alternate between size 8.5 and 9 skates, and I’d say these run closer to a size 9. For reference, my everyday shoe size is 10.5 US, and when compared to my brand new Bauer Shadows in size 8.5, the Nexus 8000 has a slightly longer runner and bit more room in the toe box which supports my size estimate. These skates were bauer’s widest boot before the fit system was established. The skates come with brand new rivets installed. Overall, these are solid pro level skates with plenty of life left.
