Fresh Laces and Sharpened to half inch and purchased for $399 in August of 2025. The 2025 Bauer Vapor Fly40 is a junior-level hockey skate designed for developing players seeking a balance of mobility and support. The Vapor line emphasizes a tapered fit with a focus on quick acceleration and agility, aided by the regular D&R (medium) width for a snug, responsive feel. These skates feature a 230mm runner blade, providing good edge control for young skaters advancing their skills. They are used but retain functional integrity suitable for continued play. This size 3 junior skate fits players generally aged 6 to 9 who need a skate that supports quick movements without compromising comfort. The Vapor Fly40 is a solid option for players working on speed and maneuverability in competitive youth hockey. Regular width accommodates most foot types at this size, helping maintain stability during fast turns and stops.
