New for 2025, Bauer has released the all-new Fly30 hockey skates. At the performance level, these skates provide players with key features that would normally be seen at the Elite level for skates. These skates are equipped with a digi comp quarter package, sublimated microfiber liner, and a 40oz pro stock felt tongue. Skate Fit Profile The Bauer Vapor Fly30 Senior Hockey Skates come in sizes 1-3.5. These skates also come in regular and wide skate widths. Boot Construction & Stiffness Profile The skate uses a Digi Comp quarter package and outsole, delivering a great balance of stiffness and flexibility for excellent power transfer and agility on the ice. The skate is also thermoformable to ensure you can get the best fit. Liner & Internal Padding Inside the skate, Bauer implemented a sublimated microfiber liner. This liner is designed to wick away moisture and provide a layer of comfort while wearing these skates. There is also memory foam in the ankle padding to give players a boost of comfort while on the ice. Lacing System The Fly30 skate utilizes a traditional lacing system similar to the previous generation of Bauer hockey skates. The traditional eyelets have been a staple when it comes to keeping skates tight and Bauer continues to use them in 2025. The standard flex facing lace system along the eyelets with improved durability and reliability in the materials used, helps keep the skates tight. Tongue A 40oz pro stock felt tongue comes stock in the Fly30 which provides great protection against lace bite and impact to ensure comfort and support during intense gameplay. The pro stock design ensures a professional-level fit, feel, and responsiveness, giving you the ability to play your best on the ice. Steel/Runner/Profile/Blade Holder The TUUK Lightspeed Edge holder allows for quick and effortless blade changes, and paired with the LS+ runner, the skate ensures good balance, stability, and edge control when skating. Toe Cap This skate is designed with a standard toe cap that accommodates a range of foot sizes. This toe cap provides a versatile fit, allowing players with different foot shapes to find the right balance of comfort and support. It ensures that players of varying foot sizes can enjoy a secure and snug fit, enhancing overall stability on the ice. Insoles The skate uses Bauer’s Form Fit footbed, which is made of a contoured foam material that molds to the shape of the player's foot over time. Graphics The Fly30 skates have a black base with white and red lines going from the top of the boot down to the ankle and towards the bottom of the skate. The Bauer and Fly30 logos can clearly be seen in silver around the skate.
