This is the top of the line CCM skate for a junior. So comfortable and responsive, it is a great pair of skates for kids to learn in. I've owned 5 pairs for my 3 kids and would always start them in these skates and work them up until the have very solid edge control. They will never complain about the fit or feel. These come with upgraded CCM Step steel Black blades (purchased and put on recently so they are nearly new with lots of life left). Tongue is XS ADPT Comfort Metatomic TriTech with FlexMotion Tendon Guard. Heat moldable so rebake to fit and you won't be disappointed.
