Skates need new laces- heat molded at shop one time because kid grows so fast. Kid didn’t play AAA but still won more games than they lost in these wheels.

The X4s are great for the recreational hockey player. The boot is comfortable right out of the box and should last you a long time. The skate feels lightweight and responsive, making it easy to maneuver on the ice. The blade holds an edge well and provides good stability.
