The shoulder pads are a tapered, multi-segmented design that allow for mobility, and the hydrophobic mesh liner wicks moisture to keep you dry. Shoulder caps have MD foam inserts, as do the front and kidney panels. The sternum and the spinal areas have MD foam and PE inserts to provide lightweight yet critical protection in these vulnerable areas. has added Aerolite padding in the back rib area, an upgrade from the inline model. The molded thermoformed bicep guard has also been upgraded with a free flex design for increased mobility. An upgraded padded collar also offers incredible comfort. The Bauer Vapor X:Velocity shoulder pads feature a removable belly pad to allow you to customize your protection and create a seamless front with your hockey pants for superior coverage.
